The Traveling Dingleberries started working and playing together in the mid-nineties, developing software for the old Digital Equipment (DEC) in Manalapan, NJ, during the day, and playing music at every opportunity. Digital became Compaq, and then HP, and over time the Dingles moved on individually.

But things changed for everyone in 2020, and like many groups, musical and otherwise, the Dingles reunited by Zoom and the cloud, and started collaborating on a version of The City of New Orleans – initially a parody version and then the real thing.

The collaboration continues with original songs, under the name dingles.us.
